Frequently asked questions
Just a bunch of questions we get asked every so often
What does WebControl actually do?
We help businesses protect and stabilise their online presence. That means Cloudflare onboarding, security consulting, monitoring key services like DNS and HTTP, and (soon) SIEM and BCP/DR planning. Think of us as your external security sidekick — minus the cape.
Can you help us onboard Cloudflare in an emergency?
Yes! Urgent onboarding is one of our specialties. If you’re under attack or something’s gone haywire, we can help you get Cloudflare set up quickly and safely. We’ll work directly with your team to stabilise things and harden your setup.
Do you only work with Cloudflare?
Cloudflare is our specialty, but we also help with general availability, DNS, and web infrastructure issues. If your site’s acting up, we’re probably the kind of people who can help figure out why.
Are you a solo operation?
Yes! WebControl is currently a boutique, founder-led business. That means personalised service, direct communication, and someone who actually remembers your setup. As we get more customers we will hire people to help support both of our businesses
Where are you based?
We’re based in Sydney, Australia and aim to work with businesses across both Australia and New Zealand. All remote, all efficient, and always local-friendly.
Do you offer once-off support or ongoing retainers?
Both. You can engage us for a single issue or set up a retainer for regular help, reviews, and peace of mind. We’ll tailor it to what your business needs.
Can I get a quote?
Of course. Just contact us with a few details about what you need help with, and we’ll get back to you quickly.
I have a question not listed here. What do I do?
Great! Send it to us at [email protected] and we’ll either answer it directly — or add it to this list and pretend it’s frequently asked. Let me know if you’d like a version styled for your website builder (HTML, Markdown, etc.) or if you want to pre-load answers to more specific topics like pricing, response times, or support channels.
